Friedman Developers
I, Jerald Friedman, am the principal and managing member of Friedman Developers. I received my B.A> at UCLA and J.D> from UCLA School of Law. Before forming Friedman Developers in 2009 as a partner in Kornwasser and Friedman we developed shopping centers throughout the nation, primarily in joint ventures with Price Club (now Costco).
Our company was merged into the Price Reit where I served as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer until the Price Reit was acquired by Kimco Realty in late 1990's. Upon completion of the merger I became Executive Vice President of Kimco Realty Corporation (the nation's largest owner and operator of neighborhood and community shopooing centers) and in 2001 became President of Kimco Developers, Inc. ("KDI" a wholly subsidiary of Kimco Realty Corporation). I have developed and sold more than 100 shopping centers, including sales totaling more than $1 billion and gains exceeding $200 million. KDI projects between 2001 and 2008 have exceeded an average gross return greater than 100% (assuming conventional financing and debt to equity ratios) and annual internal rates of return in excess of 20%. KDI developed projects ranging in size from 80,000 to over one million square feet throughout the country.
My website is www.Friedman Developers.com I retired from Kimco and KDI in 2009 and started Friedman Developers offering development and consulting expertise and experience to developers and property managers throughout the United States, including services to Kimco Realty and DeRito Partners in Arizona.
